Not gonna lie—stepping onto the TEDx ecosystem feels surreal. We spend so much time hoping, dreaming, and working toward the next big thing... and there’s this quiet, shocking moment where you realize that it has arrived.
Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how much courage it actually takes to own your brilliance. It’s not just about wrestling with your struggles—it’s also about daring to step fully into your power, your voice, and your message. That’s where I am right now.
The talk I’m giving is about AI, Creativity, and the Human Experience—a topic close to my heart. Creativity has been my lifeline. It’s how I’ve healed, how I’ve made sense of life, and how I’ve helped others do the same. I want to protect that power. I want people to feel safe, inspired, and empowered to stay creative, especially as the world changes around us.
This whole experience is already expanding me. I haven’t fully scripted the talk yet (yes, that part’s coming!), but I’m deeply committed to making sure it reflects who I am and leaves a positive impact.
The student team at Thomas Jefferson University is incredible. Diverse, thoughtful, passionate—many of them are pre-med, which I love. As someone who’s spent years in integrative medicine, I’m especially interested in the link between creativity and healing. Creativity boosts immunity, lowers stress, and activates the parasympathetic nervous system. It’s not just expressive—it’s essential.
And returning to Philadelphia for this? Full-circle. I lived in Rittenhouse for a few years and was part of a vibrant creative community—dancers, artists, entrepreneurs. Philly will always have my heart. Going back for this moment feels like pure magic.
Want to be part of it? I’ll be speaking at TEDxJeffersonU on August 30th. I’d love to see you there.
Lots of love,
Gabby
P.S. Happy Mother’s Day to all you beautiful mama bears out there xoxoxoxo
